Heritage Hotel

From arrival to departure, starting from the front office, the staff treated us very well. They were courteous and considerate. CEO Mr. Sumith Wijesinghe's very attentive nature is commendable. We had our dinner at the restaurant, and it was a blend of different Sri Lankan flavours with an international touch. Although it was a buffet dinner, Mr. Sumith arranged some of the dishes on the table. That was a different experience. Throughout, he and the F&B manager were looking after the guests and fulfilling their needs. The swimming pool was well located, but we were unable to use it due to the heavy rain. This hotel gives you a homely feeling because of their friendly nature.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and featured a private balcony that provided a serene retreat. The restaurant offered a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive, making every meal a delightful culinary experience. The hotel boasts a large, superb swimming pool, perfect for relaxation. The spa service was excellent, offering a range of rejuvenating treatments, including soothing massages, refreshing facials, and invigorating body therapies. The skilled therapists ensured a deeply relaxing experience, leaving us completely refreshed and revitalized. The serene ambiance, combined with aromatic essential oils and calming music, created the perfect setting for unwinding. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

We returned to the Heritage Hotel after 2 previous positive experiences of staying there. The most compelling aspects of this property are its location on the banks of the Tissa Wewa, within easy reach of the sacred sites of Anuradhapura, a great swimming pool that makes for the ideal place to relax in the afternoons, and the friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed a very warm welcome and efficient check in, thanks to Janaka, the front desk manager. We were running late and wanted to quickly set off to Ruwanweliseya, and Janaka ensured that we were able to do this. We also had some delicious meals, both at the well stocked buffets and when ordering ‘a la carte’. The service provided by the staff under the leadership of the restaurant manager, Hemantha, was excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at Heritage Hotel! The hotel is not only beautiful but also maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. The rooms were spacious, neat, and filled with everything I needed for a comfortable stay The food menu was simply superb – I loved every dish I tried! There were plenty of options, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. However, what truly made my stay remarkable was the hospitality of the staff. They were always smiling, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay perfect. This hotel is a must-visit if you’re in Anuradhapura👍🏻!

The food menu was superb, with a wide range of delicious dishes to choose from. Every meal was a treat! What really stood out was the excellent hospitality – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. This hotel offers great value for money. Considering the top-notch service, spacious rooms, and quality amenities, it’s well worth every penny. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Anuradhapura.
